Privacy policy

These legal pages explain how this static site works and what it means when processing happens locally in the browser.

Summary

PhotoPrivacyTool is designed to process photos locally inside the browser. In this tool, you do not need an account and you do not upload images to our own backend to analyze EXIF or generate a clean copy.

When you select a photo, the file is used temporarily in browser memory to read metadata or generate a new copy without the original EXIF block.

What image data we process

The image you choose and the metadata it contains are processed on your device to show results or prepare the local download.

The analysis result is not intentionally sent to our servers as part of the core functionality of the tool.

What we do not do in this

We do not store copies of your photos on an application server.

We do not analyze the visual content of your image in a backend.

We do not sell information derived from your photos.

Technical site data

Like any static website, the hosting provider or network infrastructure may generate basic technical access, security or performance logs. Those logs are not part of the photo-processing function of the tool itself.

If analytics, forms or third-party services are added in the future, this policy should be updated.

Your decisions

You are responsible for reviewing the downloaded copy and deciding whether to share it. Although the tool checks that the new copy no longer keeps readable EXIF, it is still sensible to run an extra verification step when handling sensitive images.
